| UNLUCKY
This one's going up late, video gamers, but
still in time for the weekend, so, y'know, shaddap.
My brother Jason and his new bride, Lori, are
set to get back home, today, around noon, and while I admire his unflinching
courage, were it me, I would not have set the return date for my very first
airplane flight on Friday the 13th. Not that I'm superstitious, but if I've
learned nothing else in my life, it's that fate CAN be tempted, and booking
the first flight of your life on Friday the 13th is like running a gauntlet
of black cats, unbalanced mirrors and teetering salt shakers under a series
of ladder arches.
But, of course, I'm trying not to jinx it --
especially now that Jason's taken me off his life insurance policy. Timing,
universe, timing!
Anyways, don't got much else -- I could write
a tribute to the "Friday the 13th" movie series, but, well, they're all terrible.
Instead, I'll leave you with today's comic. Enjoy, and catch you Monday.
