MONDAY, 04/16/07 THE MUMMY'S TOOTH #68

MARKED MAN

Hello, and welcome to my second-ever Original Comic Art Sale -- which wont actually begin till sometime in the evening, Monday, but I figured I'd go ahead and get the regular comic update posted on time, for a change. Watch this space for the official sale-commencement announcement!

So, picking up from Friday's entry, Jason and his new bride arrived home from their honeymoon in Disney World unscathed -- in fact, in a dramatic turn of events, it was THEY who did the scathing, as my brother demonstrated a scathing photographic indictment of the hygiene levels at their official Disney World resort hotel! Pictures of stained blankets, scraped wall paint, and long strands of human hair dangling from their room's fire sprinklers were presented as evidence that the Disney corporation has been lax in enforcing a satisfactory upkeep of their rooms. Though not officially part of his presentation, I can also report that one of his park photos clearly showed a park vendor advertising a single ice cream bar for four dollars. This cannot stand.

But they had a very good time, otherwise -- amongst other highlights, they ran into the Disney Tattoo Guy, who has been featured on numerous 'look at this strange person!' segments on such notable venues as The Discovery Channel, HGTV, E!, and more. He is, true to his name, a guy who has covered his entire body in tattoos of Disney characters. Jason and Lori found themselves standing behind him in line to board a bus, and because Jason is a tattooing enthusiast, he engaged him in conversation. Disney tattoo guy, doing a service to the reputation of freakishly-tattooed guys the world over, did not subsequently attack them and peel off their unmarked skin to supplement his own dwindling supply. Instead, he was friendly and upbeat, and, when questioned about a tattoo of Walt Disney on the back of his neck, he revealed that he also had a tattoo of Micheal Eisner on his butt.

Whether he was joking about that or not is his business.

Anyways, that's enough for right now -- check back Monday evening, and see if I actually got the sale stuff up! Till then, readers!
